For Helping Professionals
Welcome to SiOS!
Whether you currently self-injure, have recovered, or know someone who self-injures and want to help, you’ve come to the right place.
Here, you’ll find a number of helpful resources about self-injury. We provide information, resources, and online videos for anyone who has self-injured, who has recovered, or who knows someone who self-injures. This includes information and resources for families, romantic partners, friends, teachers and mental health and medical professionals.
Several sections of our site are devoted specifically to those who self-injure. If you click here, you’ll find a number of helpful coping resources and videos you can use when you experience urges to self-injure.
You’ll also find a section called “You Are Not Alone,” where you can share your story about recovery or your motivation to recover. You can also read what others have shared.
In addition to providing you with information and helpful resources about self-injury, we also want to hear from you. We have a number of online polls to help us improve our site and we value what you have to say.
