As part of a collaboration between the University of Guelph and McGill University, we are a non-profit outreach initiative providing information and resources about self-injury to those who self-injure, those who have recovered, and those who want to help.

International Consortium on Self-Injury in Educational Settings (ICSES)

ICSES involves an interdisciplinary and international research group whose primary goals are to address and prevent self-injury in educational settings.

Mission: ICSES aims to address non-suicidal self-injury in educational settings through a dedicated, interdisciplinary, and international research team. Our concern is not simply with examining adolescent and college samples, but with understanding the complex interplay between typical human development, non-suicidal self-injury, and the educational environment.
